News: New Signing: THE FORESHADOWING (ITA)!!!

We are very proud to announce the signing of a really outstanding band of the famous Italian school of Melancholia:

Coming from the beautiful capitol of ....Rome...., THE FORESHADOWING are one of the biggest hopes of the Italian metal-scene and they´ll prove this with their upcoming masterpiece of beauty and bitterness.

Founded in 2005 by Alessandro Pace (former member of KLIMT 1918, SPIRITUAL FRONT & DOPE STARS INC.) and lately joined by Andrea Chiodetti (guitar player of GRIMNESS), Francesco Sosto (keyboard player, ex SPIRITUAL FRONT), the drummer Jonah Padella (GRIMNESS), Davide Pesola on bass (KLIMT 1918) and, at last, by Marco Benevento (singer of HOW LIKE A WINTER), THE FORESHADOWING recorded their first full-length album “Days of Nothing” in 2006, which was released by British Candlelight Records in 2007 and already received really great response.

At the end of 2008 the band gathered again to write their new opus 'OIONOS'.

The new album was recorded and mixed at OUTER SOUND STUDIOS (....Rome.., ..Italy....) with Giuseppe Orlando (NOVEMBRE) during spring 2009. The mastering was done in June 2009 at FINNVOX STUDIOS (....Helsinki.., ..Finland....) by Mika Jussila, meanwhile the band is working again with Seth Siro Anton for artwork. The album sound is more gloomy, obsessive and epic than ever and it consists of 10 brand new tracks plus an exclusive funeral cover version of 80’s hit “Russians” by STING.

The releasedate of ‘OIONOS’ is set to April 2010.

THE FORESHADOWING will touch your heart and surely your soul … definitely a must-hear for all fans of bands like KATATONIA, NOVEMBRE, ANATHEMA, KLIMT 1918 or MOONSPELL!!!

“Hi folks,
THE FORESHADOWING are proud to announce the signing of a new deal with german cult label CYCLONE EMPIRE RECORDS!
We are very pleased to be finally under the roster of a serious label who places a bet on us with the intent of being passionate, serious and conscientious in their work, therefore we're looking forward to start this new adventure with the guys of CYCLONE EMPIRE in the hope of doing great things together!
Meanwhile we already finished the recordings and mastering of our new 2nd opus entitled “OIONOS” during the spring of 2009. The album sound will be more gloomy, obsessive and dark than ever and everyone of us are very excited to give you more doom vibrations.
For recordings and mixing we confirmed once again Giuseppe Orlando (Novembre) and his OUTER SOUND STUDIOS (....Rome....). The mastering was done at FINNVOX STUDIOS (....Helsinki....) by MIKA JUSSILA in june 2009.
